The Apostolic Faith Mission Westview Family Fellowship Assembly (AFMFFA)
The AFM Westview Family Fellowship Assembly (AFMFFA) is located in Westview, Pretoria West and was planted in August 2005, as a branch assembly of the AFM Atteridgeville Revival Centre.
Pastor and Mrs Joe Mametja were appointed by Pastor Sam Ndala and the AFM Atteridgeville Revival Centre to pastor the branch assembly. The church (branch) started small with a membership of about twenty (20) people and grew steadily by the grace of God to the membership of approximately 800 people with an average of 1100 attendance of Sunday services. In 2012 the branch assembly gained autonomy to become a full assembly of The Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa.
The AFMFFA is a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic assembly, serving the communities of Danville, Philip Nel Park, Westview, Elandspoort and Pretoria West. Our community involvement includes, Wellness Day, Welfare services to the needy and orphans and spiritual counselling for families and individuals.
The following ministries are functional: 1. Men’s Fellowship 2. Sister’s Fellowship 3. Youth Ministry 4. Children’s Church (Sundays School)
AFM stands for “Apostolic Faith Mission” (in Afrikaans: “AGS – Apostoliese Geloofsending”). The AFM exists since 1908 and is the first and largest Pentecostal church in the country – with 1.4 million members in SA and currently established in 29 countries of the world. “Pentecostal” means that it is a church who believes that the Spirit of God is given to believers to live dynamic and overcoming lives.
