Association of Christian Religious Practitioners (ACRP)
Association of Christian Religious Practitioners (ACRP) is the first registered professional body for Christian religious professionals in South Africa, with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) the registration was done in terms of the National Qualifications Framework Act (NQF Act No.67 of 2008), SAQA registration number, PB0000110.
The organisation is also registered with CIPC as a Non-Profit Company, with registration number NPC 2015/319357/08.
The Association was established after broad consultation over a period of approximately five years, with representatives from a wide range of ministry professionals drawn from all denominations, various churches, ministries, training institutions and counselling practitioners. The organization was subsequently established as a service to churches and Christian ministries in South Africa and other African countries, which have identified the need for professional support as it relates to the formal professionalisation of their pastors and ministry leaders.
ACRP is NOT a denomination, fraternal or ministry network, but a professional body seeking to provide a professionalisation frame work for churches and ministries across the denominational divide, without compromising the doctrinal integrity of the respective Denomination, Church or Ministry.
