Ballito Quad Bikes - Blythedale Event Bowl The Ballito Quad Bike is located at Blythedale Event Bowl (20 minute drive on the N2 north of Ballito ) and the trail is fun-filled experience for the entire family. The skill to ride a quad bike is not difficult to master and can be enjoyed by young and old alike. Kids of all ages are welcome even if they can't operate the quad bike themselves they can go along on the ride at the back of the quad bike as a passenger. Don't feel like driving? You can also be a passenger as an adult as long as the combined weight of the two people does not exceed 130 kilograms. We offer a guided 5 or 10 kilometre trail ride that runs over sugar cane hills and visits an indigenous forest with scenic ocean views before ending up at the beach. Both trails are easy enough to be handled by a novice quad bike rider and promise to be a lot of fun. The 5-kilometre ride will take approximately 30 minutes to complete with the 10-kilometre quad bike trail in the region of 60 minutes. It's a great family activity, and on weekends we have an onsite open-air restaurant Grumpy's Beach Bar And Restaurant www.grumpysbeachbar.co.za please be sure to check first if they are open, as their operating hours depend on the day of the week or holiday season (usually open on Saturday & Sunday only).
