15 National welfare organisations in SA have joined forces for the biggest fundraising campaign of all time. Together we represent more than 1 000 local welfare organisations - support them all or choose your favourite one! Starting up in 2013 the first Tekkie Tax campaign was an overwhelming success and raised R2,4 million for the 183 welfare organisations that participated. In 2014 we grew to 286 participating welfare organisations and you - our supporters - raised R4,8 million for us. The 2015 campaign was an even bigger success as you raised R6,5 million for your favourite cause and in 2016 we raised an amazing R8.4 million! This brings the final amount raised until 2016 to R22 million. And we cannot wait to let you know how well the campaign did for 2017 and 2018! There are 3 focus areas in the services rendered by Charity Support Services - Legacy through Charity Trust ,Tekkie Tax & the NGO Empowerment Program. 1. Tekkie Tax campaign - South Africa's most significant national fundraising campaign. 2. NGO Empowerment Program - training and development of welfare organisations. 3. Legacy through Charity - assisting companies with their CSI spend and B-BBEE scorecard requirement
