Glenstantia Primary School Glenstantia Primary School is located in Constantia Park , Pretoria East and was established in 1981 to serve the south-eastern suburbs of Pretoria. It started out as a small school with 500 pupils and today serves almost 1500 learners. Not only do the learners receive excellent tuition from a dedicated Staff of some 62 teachers during school hours, all interests and needs are catered for after hours. There is a very well equipped After Care Centre where homework is supervised and learners can attend a variety of activities. Sporting activities include Athletics, cricket, soccer, hockey, netball, rugby, tennis, swimming, basket ball, and mini tennis. The parents committees offer mini-soccer and mini-cricket. In order to promote greater participation and performance, Glenstantia offers soccer and swimming at academies over and above the official extra-mural timetable. Cultural needs of pupils are also catered for. These are Recorder, Art Club, Choir, Scripture Union, Science club, Chess and Media. Ballet, Modern dancing and Karate are however offered privately. Parents are able to leave their children in the capable hands of a school that caters for the child at all levels!
