Owner and Instructor is Carla De Gouveia and I first began practicing Iyengar Yoga at home, alone, in my lounge, Guruji's book ' Light On Yoga ' at my side. What an awesome teacher to have! And so my Yoga journey began. When we moved to Midrand I found an Iyengar teacher, and from that first class, I knew I would one day be teaching Iyengar Yoga. Jivana Yoga Studio is situated in the beautiful Carlswald Valley in Midrand. I have morning and evening adult classes, children's afternoon classes, and we also offer the occasional weekend workshop. Yoga has brought much light to my life and I believe that everyone can benefit from its practice. Looking forward to seeing you on the mat.
