Laerskool Halfway House Primary School - Midrand Halfway House Primary School is located in Halfway Gardens , Midrand and is a school of excellence with high standards and expectations in all facets eg. academic, sport, cultural, etc. We boast a rich cultural heritage of being the first (pioneering) school in the Midrand (Halfway House) area established in 1923. We uphold our school motto / mission statement “to ensure quality teaching and learning takes place in the classroom every day.” Our reputation of service excellence in terms of quality of teaching and learning precedes us and we are indeed a school of preference. When we speak of the school, we speak not of the building / architectural design, but of the individuals (ie. SGB, SMT, Staff, Parents and Learners) that constitute the school and give it its identity.
