Ria Sandenbergh qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Pretoria in 2001 and received her Masters Degree in 2004 in Sport Medicine form the same institution. She has completed courses in chronic pain, dynamic and kinesiotaping as well as dry needling. She has worked in both out-patient and hospital practices and is the owner of PhysioFirst . She worked in school sport for 13 years, but is not actively involved with teams anymore – preferring to spend more time with her 3 daughters. Her special interests at the moment are chronic low back and neck pain as well as headaches. Rehabilitation and education is at the heart of her practice philosophy.
