SafetyGrip KZN is located in Cornubia , Durban and has been serving the transportation industry with high-quality products and services since 1997. A privately-owned trading and distribution company, SafetyGrip offers customers a wide assortment of products and services. SafetyGrip have Warehouses in Gauteng ( Head office ), KwaZulu Natal and Western Cape and we run a Wholesale , Retail and Exports department to suit all our customer tyre, rim and accessory needs. We provide friendly and professional service aiming to be the best. We sell high quality products and offer competitive pricing in the tyre market, focusing on selling prodigious service, knowledge and expertise. Our daily goal is not only to be better than the rest but to be better than the day before. We provide the industry with a vast range of tyres. Virtually all brands for passenger, light truck, truck tyres as well as agricultural, industrial and earthmover tyres. SafetyGrip was one of the first Michelin truck centres in South Africa. Our service further expands to retreading (Leadertread & Recamic) and salvaging of casings. Vulcanise repairs as well as supplying of rims, accessories and consumables. Our state-of-the-art drive-in truck shop offers brake test, alignment, suspension test, battery test and charging, aircon refilling, fitting and balancing of all tyres. One of our services SafetyGrip offer is on route truck breakdown services for our truck customers. We offer an array of products ranging from the best known brands to our import products to provide you, our customer, with options that are best suited to your needs. Our Import brands are currently: Hifly truck tyres, Cachland passenger tyres, Alwaysrun agricultural tyres, industrial and bias earthmover Sailun OTR tyres. SafetyGrip is a family business founded by Sakkie Venter in June 1997. As most would say a legend in the tyre industry, he started the company as a one-man show; operating from his home with only two employees besides himself. The company had one compressor, two vehicles and three employees. Sakkie Venter was the sales representative, Marks Moruapheko a tyre fitter/driver and Adri Venter dealing with all administration and accounts aspects of the business.
