Shokran Wedding & Events venue is a unique events venue situated in a magnificent, tranquil farm setting amidst pecan nut and almond plantations, 12km from the Woodlands Shopping Centre on the Eastern side of Pretoria (Garsfontein Road). It has an upmarket, rustic relaxed feel to it with beautiful doors & lights. It consists of a thatched-roof hall with a stunning fireplace and has large farm style “stoeps” surrounding it. Outside there are lush green lawns under beautiful indigenous trees. The main hall is adjacent to an almond tree plantation which makes it a truly magical setting. Outside ceremonies are ideal under our permanent tent which can be made up to match any theme. Shokran can host between 20 and 150 guests and has been designed to accommodate a variety of events such as weddings, corporate events, special occasions like 50th and kiddies parties to name a few. Shokran is the term used to say "thank you" in Morocco and is the perfect place to thank your employees for all their hard work during the year. If you have not looked at options for your 2017 year end function, look no further... Shokran has an upmarket, rustic relaxed feel to it with a Moroccan inspired theme, which has been brought to life with personally selected and imported Moroccan finishing and decor. It is not far from Pretoria (12km from Woodlands) and worth the drive from Jo'burg! You will feel as if you are in another world, yet so close to town. There is no separate venue hire and all is included in the per person price, except entertainment. You will have the venue exclusively for your function If you want something different, let us create a Moroccan experience with belly dancers, drummers or even camels and be transferred to North Africa for just one night. picnic baskets or a Vintage high tea setting for a lazy afternoon function. Some new exciting themes we have is a mini festival where it is a relaxed atmosphere with festival style stalls.
