Spot the Print was established by Freddy Ngobeni in 1993, working from a garage in Dube Village Soweto. Freddy worked for a printing company for 14 years and learned about various printing methods. When the company closed it's doors, he decided to start his own printing company. He started operating with an A4 Printing machine and serving only a hand-full of customers. Freddy's entrepreneurial skills were put to the test and he proved to be very astute business man. Within 3 months his business grew and he employed his first staff member James Nkuna who is still with the company to date. Within a year of establishing the business , two more staff members were employed and there was also a need to purchase a second printing machine to increase the capacity. The client base included Nafcoc, Mafube Publishers, Delmas Milling Company, SAB and Toyota SA In 1996, Spot the Print was voted Small Business of the year, Ambassador of the year and Best Service provider of the year by Toyota SA's internal program where they rate their supply rate, product quality and support service. In 1997 the staff compliment grew to 5. Currently Spot the Print employs over ten (10) full time staff members.
