It has a 18-hole Peter Matkovich-designed course that is green all year round, a full driving range with a chipping green, practice putting green and a bunker to practice sandy shots. The golf course melts into the surroundings with indigenous vegetation. Dwarf Paspalum Greens in all year round great condition coupled with beautifully manicured fairways provides for an easy walk for every category of golfer. Our vision is for Umhlali Country Club to be the venue of choice for sports and recreation on the KZN North Coast . We strive to provide members, guest and visitors with an affordable and beautiful eco-friendly club with a top-rated golf course, sporting and recreational facilities which offers an enjoyable experience with quality service in a hospitable and friendly environment. We are a non-discriminatory organization with professional management and service at its core. Golfing Groups from 20 to 144 are catered for. Pensioners are treated to discounted rates on Mondays and Tuesdays – Fridays before 8am. Thursday is officially Ladies day but the ladies are welcome at any competition or event. Golf carts are available and are fitted with GPS. The Sports Shop, Caddies and Driving Range are there for your convenience and to accentuate your total golf experience.
