Family owned - Tania began life, raised on a farm and would cook for her family from the age of 12. She married a half belgian half frenchman she met in a restaurant traveling all over the world enriching her culinary knowledge and food cultures. She went on to own an international guesthouse, tea garden/ coffeeshop and a cheese factory in Malawi which all led to her opening Urban Fields. Tania has a passion for combining farm and table and finds joy in seeing her customers sitting down having a hearty meal and enjoying the experience at Urban Fields. Our farm-friendly cows and goats are raised in a healthy environment, and we take pride in our animals’ welfare and ensure that they are well-fed and cared for. Our cows and goats are grass-fed and a balanced diet of grain mix. We believe that happy healthy animals make for better products, which is why we prioritise their well-being.
