Whaikana Counselling is located in Villieria , Pretoria and is the support system for neurodivergent individuals, we assist families in finding a new ability to cope and heal from trauma, crises, and other stressors through counselling and ongoing support. By implementing a needs assessment and networking programme, we involve communities to support neurodivergent * individuals sufficiently. We advocate and create awareness within our society, to assist them to embrace the amazing abilities neurodivergent persons have within themselves as well as re-adjust how we perceive one another. Counselling We offer wellness orientated supportive counselling by our counsellor Genevieve Matthews, who is registered with the ASCHP. Our Mission The Whaikana mission is to be on the supportive front and cultivate wellness in individuals living within our neurodivergent part of society. * Neurodivergent applies to conditions such as Autism, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Neurodiverse individuals often struggle with soft skills, especially ones that apply to social interactions.
