Women of Value SA ( WOVSA ), an NPO that empowers women and youth nationally, was founded in 2011 by the Chairperson of Southern Africa Women in Tourism (SAWIT) Dr Dimakatso Malwela. Our mandate is to play an advocacy role in bridging the gap between the community, Government and the private sector on socio-economic issues. We facilitate, co-ordinate, monitor and evaluate all the programmes set to change lives. The large gap between knowing what to do and being inspired and empowered is one of the key drives of this organisation. From women’s brain dominance research to interacting with different communities, WOVSA saw that women and youth, in particular, needed and wanted information to understand their value and know how to live their lives with purpose. It was from this awareness that WOVSA came to be and it is our desire through information and inspiration, to help women and youth to fulfil their destiny of greatness. We have partnered with the government, communities, ministries and private sectors to ensure that all our programmes are implemented successfully. What makes Women of Value SA unique is that it cuts across the different pillars of life and impact the lives of people.
