World Mission Centre (WMC) World Mission Centre ( WMC ) is called to provoke, enthuse, and inspire the body of Christ in order that they may be released to the task of missions. World Mission Centre exists to fulfill the Great Commission by bringing the gospel to the remaining unreached people groups of the world. We believe the answer to fulfilling this mission and reaching the lost is the local church. We partner with local churches in two ways: by seeing pastors enthused with a passion for missions and church members trained to share the gospel and build the church in their community. The objective of WMC is to partner with local churches around the world and empower pastors to train their own church members in evangelistic and theological teaching through the Live School curriculum, so they can be released as national church planters and missionaries among their own communities and unreached people groups around the world. Usually, our most effective work takes place in rural, hard-to-reach villages, towns, and backstreets. These places are where passionate believers exist but theological training and resources do not. WHY TRAIN NATIONAL MISSIONARIES? • They already know the language and customs, and they require less time for cultural acquisition. • They live close to unreached people groups. • They live at the economic level of those they seek to reach and already have an area of influence within their culture. • They have access to closed, foreign countries where traditional missionaries are not welcome. • They can train other nationals as missionaries more cost effectively than sending in a foreign missions trainer.
