ABOUT US: Oregon Cottage Guesthouse is situated at the gateway to the Maluti Mountains in Lesotho, at the foot of the majestic Imperani Mountain in the scenic town of Ficksburg, in the heart of the Free State. The tranquility of Ficksburg and its surrounds is perfect to escape from the hectic pace of city life. Oregon Cottage, easy accessible from the town entrance, and being in the heart of Ficksburg, makes this the perfect accommodation choice for families and business people alike.We provide 9 spacious en-suite rooms, each with its own personality and private entrance. All of our rooms are fully self-catering, each equipped with its own kitchenette. Family rooms are also available, which makes us a perfect retreat for families with small or big children. Guests can enjoy a trip over the magnificent Maluti Mountains to the Katse Dam in Lesotho, using the Italian engineered Mifika Lisiu Pass, while enjoying beautiful views. Water sports and angling are enjoyed on the Meulspruit Dam which is surrounded by a nature reserve and is also the start and finishing point for the 23 km Imparani Hiking Trail. Braai facilities are available for your convenience and we can provide braai packs on request. There is also a comfortable guest lounge and dining room, with fireplace where we serve scrumptious breakfasts and dinner upon request, as well as lunch boxes if needed. Secure parking with an electric gate is provided for your peace of mind. The guest house also has conference facilities available for small groups up to 20 people.
