Ugu South Coast Tourism ( USCT ) is the official destination management organisation (DMO) of the Ugu District in KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa. The Ugu District comprises 4 municipalities, namely Umdoni, Umzumbe, Umuziwabantu and Ray Nkonyeni. USCT’s mandate is twofold in that it looks after the marketing and promotion of the KZN South Coast destination, as well as the development of the tourism industry in the region. USCT’s key priorities in addressing tourism growth in the district focus on developing and implementing programs that are aimed at: - Ensuring the availability of world class tourist services and encourage transformation - Supporting the development of innovative and unique tourism products to extend geographical spread of tourists across the destination – thus attracting potential investments - Ensuring the availability of visitor information infrastructure - Attracting and increasing the number of tourists to the destination
